Spring Cleaning

I have been working hard this weekend of cleaning up the apartment and getting more things organized. Each week/weekend that has been passing by has just been adding more to the to do list. I spent about 6 hours yesterday in the bathroom and kitchen giving them a good spring cleaning. Today I need to tackle all the (clean) clothes on our living room floor.

I had been asking my sweet hubster to put in some type of shelving to give us more room. So six months later I did it myself. He did help me put it up, i just actually went out and bought it.

How I love when things are clean and organized. Now we will have to see how long it lasts.

The task at hand today! Instead we might go out to the pool, lol. This is how it builds up so much.

Father's Day Weekend

The Hubster and I headed down to Kemah Friday afternoon to have a quick fathers day dinner with my dad. He took us to a great sushi place where we got to eat plenty of octopus, eel, and many creative designs. I should of taken pictures of our food as well.

The Silliness of Sassy

Soon we might have to add Sassy to the family list with as much time as we get to spend with her. Sassy was with us this past week and we had a great time taking her on walks, playing with her in the apt and watching her do silly things.

Sassy's Back!

This week the Hubster and I get to watch over Sassy again. We always enjoy watching her because it lets us enjoy having a pet but then giving it back so we don't have to pay a pet deposit and take car of one full time. Sassy has this new trick with bouncing a beach ball back to me. We have fun playing each day.

Over at mom/pop Steely's house

This past weekend the hubsters parents took a quick vacation out to west Texas and left Grandmom at home. We spent Saturday and Sunday with her. We made some good food, watched some great cable TV, and got to pick their garden. this is what their back yard consists of.

2 Year Breakfast

This is a wonderful meal I made for our two year wedding anniversary. I ate by myself on the porch because the hubster would not get out of bed but it still tasted great.
